Co-Curricular Activities

The institute keeps on organizing a variety of programmes of educational value like Morning Assembly, Extension Lectures, Personality Development Programs, Inter-House Competitions, Talent Show, Quiz, Celebrations of National & International Days, Inter College Meet, Annual Sports Meet, Youth Welfare Activities, and Social Welfare Activities etc. The main objectives of these co-curricular activities are :

• Providing a platform for developing leadership qualities.
• Identifying individual merits and talents of student teachers.
• Developing aesthetic sense through decoration of the Assembly Hall.
• Developing organizational skills among the student teachers.
• Developing higher values and virtues through devotional songs, music, noble thoughts.
• Developing open mindedness through interfaith programmes.
• Creating awareness of student-teachers towards the significance of festivals, traditions, national & international days.

Inter-College Meet
The inter-college meet is held annually in which various educational colleges participate. Various competitions including Skill-in-teaching, Chalk Board Writing, Flower Arrangement, Rangoli, and Preparation of Best out of Waste Materials etc. are held in this meet. Before the Inter-college Meet, competitions at the college level are also organized and the winning team participates in the Inter-College Meet.

Talent Search Show
Talent Search Show is a regular and important feature of the institute. It is organized in the beginning of the session so that the talented students can be identified and selected for participating in various competitions at different levels. There are eight areas in which the talent shows are organized. These are singing, speech, mono-acting, poetic symposium, mimicry, dance, painting and quiz.
